It was established in 1954. The Faculty comprises a modern building infrastructure consisting of two towers and a central building for administration, occupying a total area of 7000 sq. mts.
One tower is a ten-storey building devoted to lecture rooms and a computing center, and the other six-storey building includes laboratories, library and research groups.
Area for planning and development of the South Buenos Aires, which provides cooperation in resolving social conflicts, formulates plans for the development of value chains and other actions, with public and private actors.
Scientific and technological research activities are coordinated by the Office of Science and Technology. At present, the following research groups are active:
