Las caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s importantes de la misma son: dise\u00f1o compacto y gran flexibilidad operativa, lo que la hace particularmente atractiva para sistemas medianos y peque\u00f1os.<\/p>\n          <p>Aunque para aprovechar estas particularidades resulta esencial disponer e implementar de una estrategia de control en tiempo real capaz de automatizar el manejo de las variables de proceso. Asimismo se ha demostrado que la utilizaci\u00f3n de sistemas anaer\u00f3bicos (con reactores secuenciales discont\u00ednuos), y en condiciones psicrof\u00edlicas es ventajosa cuando se trata de procesar residuos de tipo agroindustriales (por ejemplo esti\u00e9rcoles).<\/p>\n          <p>Teniendo en cuenta lo mencionado antes , en este Proyecto se propone obtener un modelo matem\u00e1tico de un sistema de digesti\u00f3n anaer\u00f3bica en condiciones de baja temperatura, de los barros excedentes de una planta de tratamiento de efluentes (barros activados) de una malter\u00eda de cebada cervecera, utilizando reactores secuenciales de tipo discont\u00ednuo.<\/p>\n          <p>El modelo simular\u00e1 las distintas interacciones entre las fases presentes , partiendo de datos experimentales publicados para sistemas similares , como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n de datos experimentales propios obtenidos con estos residuos mediante experimentaci\u00f3n previa y en curso, tanto a nivel Laboratorio como escala Piloto.
