Este problema es la base de la metodolog\u00eda del dise\u00f1o de redes de transporte urbano. Debido a la alta demanda computacional para su soluci\u00f3n, existe un gran inter\u00e9s en la comunidad de la ingenier\u00eda de transporte en el desarrollo de modelos num\u00e9ricos eficientes para el dise\u00f1o de grandes redes urbanas.<\/p>\n      <p>El objetivo general del presente proyecto es contribuir a la modelaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica del comportamiento de las redes de transporte urbano, con especial \u00e9nfasis en el tr\u00e1fico vehicular, y su aplicaci\u00f3n al dise\u00f1o de infraestructura para minimizar efectos de congesti\u00f3n y de contaminaci\u00f3n
